a little girl, a little post

 You know you're really having a good day when all you can do is smile and be thankful. 

So, so, so, so, so, long time no write. Has it really been long since? 

I don't know but it feels like it. I've had nothing to write about honestly, till recently. The way you read the previous sentence would make it seem as if I had something absolutely amazing to write about. 

Undoubtedly, I do. To me, at least. 

Firstly

There's been a new little addition to our family!!!!!!! The amount of exclamation marks do not do justice to how excited I truly am about this little princess! 

Weird thing is, when mum had shown us the first few pictures of her, I asked my brother what he'd think the baby's name will be and he said Alyssa. Then, he asked me back and I answered Sofia. Something about her face that made me go, "Yes. She's definitely a Sofia to me."

Anyway anyway, I asked mum the same thing hours after and she answered the same thing. Sofea. Being the child that I am, I was already pretty ecstatic that mum had actually thought the same as I did. 

And theeeeeeeeeeeeeen, it turns out the baby really was named Sofea. I know it isn't that exciting but heyho it really was for me [insert cry-laugh emoji].

Secondly 

I spent my weekend at Ilmfest which was also undeniably enjoyable. Now, my notebook is filled with cursive notes (halfway-there-not-really-notes type notes). I don't really have anything else to say about this but I definitely, definitely enjoyed it a whole lot; the speeches and the people who made them.

Ah, this post is shorter that usual but I've got nothing else to say and until I get out of my not-wanting-to-write slump, these are probably all I have to post hehe.
